It gives me immense pleasure in welcoming you to the official website of NIPER, Hajipur. NIPER, Hajipur has been established to meet the dual objectives i.e. to inspire and provide opportunities for top class Pharma education to the youth of Bihar and the country on theone hand and to supply skilled manpower to our fast growing Pharma industry on the other. I am happy to say that NIPER, Hajipur is trying hard to achieve these twin objectives. With a view to impart cutting-edge science related to the pharmaceutical industries and pharma-regulatory bodies’ requirements, NIPER Hajipur has started initially its inning with courses like Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaco-informatics and Biotechnology. A total of 32 students have been admitted this year, of which 12 are in Pharmacy Practice, 12 are in Pharmacoinformatics and 8 are in Biotechnology.
The Masters programme being offered at NIPER, Hajipur are moulded to achieve the sole objective of equipping students with the strong basics and modern development in the field and providing necessary skills to make them highly competitive in the job market. Their hard learnt skills are being sharpened with highly innovative project work in the leading institutions of the state.
Last but not the least, I would like to thank the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Petrochemicals for their constant support, encouragement and guidance in helping the institute forge ahead. I am also thankful to the faculties, staffs & students of NIPER as well as colleagues at RMRIMS, whose constant and unflinching support has enabled me to lead the venture in positive mode. We are preparing ourselves to undertake applied and meaningful research in these areas. I am sure that in coming years, NIPER, Hajipur is going to attain greater heights and would be a leading seat of learning for the modern pharmaceutical science. |
